Saturday 23rd January received call from a band playing a sell out gig at the Manchester O2 Ritz.  Bass players volume pot packed up the night before during the encore, they didn’t have a spare bass so had to do a quick run into Manchester to collect the guitar and return in time for sound check at 5pm. It was a big ask, but I managed to get the bass back and fixed by 5.20pm (and that would have been quicker if not for Saturday afternoon traffic!!)  Seems it’s not just Wobbly Bob who have a crisis just before a gig.  Anyway, met the band, lovely people and great sound and harmonies.  The bass player is Jimbo Hart and the band are the Jason Isbell band, apparently Springsteen is a big fan.  Check out the link below featuring the Fender Precision bass mentioned..
